Nowhere as good as last year.

Saturday was the Big Bird Count Day. Here in PA it was a nasty heavy overcast and rain, drizzle when it wasn't raining. Unlike last year which was awesome. Last Years Count Day There was a mediocre migration overnight and there were certainly birds around in the yard, about 12 species of Warbler if I remember correctly. Bird of the day was a brief visit from a Summer Tanager but like most of the migrants it moved on. It would have been a waste of time photographing so I watched and listened from the deck. Heres a few photo's from Friday night, Sunday evening and this morning. The light is always challenging unless it's a light overcast but I made do.
