It's Sunday and it chilly out there, snow on the way so I'm not venturing too far today. I decided it was time to take a few bird pictures. Just getting used to my Sony and manual focussing again, not that there aren't any Sony Autofocus lenses it's just that I don't have one at present. I'm using my Nikon and Zeiss lenses on a Nikon to Sony adapter.

Snow Geese time of year.

As usual this time of year the Snow Geese come and pay us a visit in the fields around home. This morning I went out to feed the birds and could hear a huge flock landing in the field opposite. I got my gear and went up to take a few shots with the Sony A7R and my Nikon 300 f4, all manual so some shots were out of focus, particularly the flight shots.
