Jacobs Ladder

I've been in the yard on and off most of the WE. Buying plants and planting plants in the area I cleared last fall. Hopefully my butterfly and hummingbird garden will attract some nice photographic subjects in the near future.

This is a Jacobs Ladder near my waterfall.

Twinkle

The other night Twinkle allowed me to photograph her. Doesn't happen very often, she only allows me close on her terms normally. Probably because I'm the one who normally pulls the mats out of her fur when I'm combing her.

Spring

The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming. I saw my first Warbler of the year this morning, a Yellow-Rumped Warbler. I also saw my first butterfly, a White something or other.

I went out and took this of what I think are Siberian Squill. I took this with quite a combination. The camera was my Sony A7RII, the lens was a Zeiss 135mm f2.8 in a Contax mount adapted to the Sony with a Fotodiox adapter. All manual of course but it came out nice and sharp.
