Farne Islands - Part 1

Lying just off the Northumbrian Coast the Farne Islands are a magnet for the 1000's of seabirds that breed there. I've intended to visit the Farnes several times but never actually made it until now. I picked a glorious day for it, calm, warm and sunny which made the sea crossing a breeze. I took lots of pictures and here's a few of them. The boats draw up close to the islands before landing to allow views of the birds from the seaward side.
