Another day, another Island

The day after we visited The Treshnish Islands and Staffa we boarded another boat to take us across to the the island of Iona. According to tradition the monk St Columba and 12 disciples founded a monastery there in 535 so you might say it has a bit of history to it. Nowadays there's an abbey which looks very nice. Several old ruins and crosses on the way to the abbey. Looks like a nice peaceful place to get away from it all.
