Field Birds

A rather chilly Saturday morning at 16F  or -8.88C for the SI types. I ventured up the lane twice, I had to cut short my first visit because I didn't bring a spare battery and I desperately need a pee. There were plenty of birds to be seen close to the road where I spread the seed yesterday. On my second trip I saw 3 Lapland Longspurs and a Snow Bunting among the huge flock of Larks. That visit didn't last too either as my fingers were freezing even wearing gloves.
