It's not very often that I do two posts in the same day but this one was worth it. While photographing the birds this morning I noticed in the background this dead tree (I've known it was dead for a while). Growing on the bottom of it and highlighted by the low sun was this fungi that my app is naming a Jack-o'-lantern mushroom. I'll have to look it up and see if it's edible, not that I'm going to consume it, just interested. Nope, not edible!
