I didn't take any photos yesterday on the first day of the year because it was awful weather. The very first bird I saw was a Sharp-shinned Hawk which didn't help, he would have ensured any self respecting bird stayed under cover and out of site.
Today started off pretty much the same but actually brightened up so it was safe to take a few shots. It's nearly noon and there's actually blue sky! Goes well with the Bluebirds.
