Just a possible...maybe
Looking out the window in passing yesterday afternoon I saw a chunky grayish bird on my ground feeder loaded with Black Oil Sunflower seeds. A few steps to grab my ever ready bins and another few steps back to the window only to see the bird disappearing into the Spice Bushes with a fair amount of white showing. I was busy but kept looking but never saw it or anything resembling it again. Female Evening Grosbeak? No idea, but possible.
