Acadia Park Loop Road

Regular readers of my blog; yes both of you will know that I love Maine. I didn't make it up last year, this is a picture from a couple of years ago of the Park Loop Road and Boulder Beach. The picture was taken from Otter Ciffs.

Schoodic Swells

Schoodic Peninsula which is part of Acadia National Park in Maine is one of my favorite places to just sit around and watch the ocean, the birds and most of all the waves breaking on the rocky shoreline. This is one such day a few years ago with heavy sea swells after a storm, I've never seen the waves breaking so high.

Wish I was there right now.

Chestnut-sided Warbler

This little beauty is a regular passage migrant to the back yard. I'm not sure how close they breed to where I live, probably up on the mountain. I rarely see them after May though so maybe they become more secretive.
