I deleted the last entry because of spamming from some Indian asshole selling shit of some sort. I can't figure out how to delete Google+ comments.
Anyway as I was saying, Nikon have announced a long awaited replacement for the D300 which was superb wildlife camera when it came out in 2007. The D500 will be released in March apparently, what happened to the D400 you might ask. Well I think the answer is that the Nikon factory in Thailand got totally wiped out in the flooding a few years ago. Even though I'm using the Sony A7r mostly and neglecting the D810 I'm sorely tempted by the D500. Heres a D300 shot of an Indigo Bunting from the backyard taken in May 2008.
