I went out for a little walk the other evening. There have been plenty of storm warnings but the storms all seem to be passing along the Appalachians a few miles to north of us.

While on the current trend of seed thieves heres another culprit. I don't know how many chipmunks there are in the yard but when theres a predator about the incessant loud 'chip', 'chip', 'chip', 'chip', 'chip' is really annoying. It's usually a Red-tailed Hawk or Coopers Hawk and they certainly pass the word along to their fellow Chipmunks.

I'm sure I put seed out for the birds this morning.

I'm really, really sure I did.

Yesterday up at Ft Indiantown Gap, it was in the mid 90's for the 3rd of the Butterfly Walks of 2016. High temperatures might be good for butterflies but not for humans. I had a nice wander round looking at more than just butterflies. Heres a few of the images.
